The Move-On Alternatives Project
The Move-On Alternatives Project is a collaborative venture between a
range of organisations concerned about the shortage of move-on accommodation
from temporary supported housing in London. Its aims are to:
- develop strategic and practical responses to the shortage of move-on
- encourage more realistic expectations amongst service users and front-line
staff
- facilitate co-operation across agencies in tackling the move-on problem.
The lead agencies are:

- Single Homeless Project
- London Borough of Camden
- Penrose Housing Association
The consultants for the project are Starfish
Consulting, and funding has been provided by the Housing Corporation
and the London Housing Foundation.
