Help with your
housing costs

Need support?

Need support?

There are organisations in London and elsewhere that might be able to give you help to settle in your new home. The type of help they can give you often includes:

  • help with benefit claims
  • help with managing your finances
  • help with getting training or employment
  • help with getting specialist services (such as counselling or help with a drugs problem).

Help is targeted at people who might be at risk of losing their home if they didn't have it. You can get details of what is available in the area you will be moving to by contacting the Supporting People team of the council. You can find contact details for them by clicking here.

If you live in supported housing or a hostel, you could ask your support worker or resettlement worker if they are able to arrange this type of help for you.
