There are some low cost home ownership schemes that can help people to buy homes at a lower than usual cost. To find out which housing associations are offering low cost home ownership in the area you are interested in contact the local office of the Housing Corporation for a list. Some councils also operate such schemes. Contact the local Housing Advice Centre to find out. Details of where they are should be on the council's website which can be found by clicking on www.oultwood.com/localgov/uk.
